Educational Settings and Information
- In Class Support
- This provides added support to the students while in a mainstream classroom environment. Assistance from the Special Education teacher will be provided as needed.
- Replacement Reading and Language Arts
- This provides additional support in Reading and Language Arts outside of the mainstream classroom. Extra practice of content will be given to reinforced what was learned.
- Replacement Mathematics
- This provides additional support in Reading and Language Arts outside of the mainstream classroom. Extra practice of content will be given to reinforced what was learned.
- Homework Policy
- Students who receive replacement reading, language arts, or math are given homework by the resource room teacher. Homework is an integral part of the student's success that reinforces major skills and concepts that were learned that day in class. Daily independent reading for at least 20 minutes is reccomended for improved vocabulary and comprehension.
